Speakers will set the stage for participants by providing a broad view of current issues at play relative to the intersection between natural resources and key environmental, sustainability, economic and policy influences (e.g., climate change, changing regulatory priorities, biodiversity, energy, technology innovations, etc.) in the US and globally.

PRESENTATION AND INTERACTIVE DISCUSSION: GLOBAL NATURAL RESOURCE DAMAGE ASSESSMENT RESOURCES FOR THE MULTI-STAKEHOLDER COMMUNITY
The segment will begin with an overview of a new online resource designed to bring together, in one accessible location, key publicly available resources relevant to parties interested in or confronting natural resource damage claims under US law. Meeting participants will take part in an interactive work out to test tool’s usefulness, identify priority enhancements, and provide feedback on functionality, content, and future development priorities.

The segment will begin with an overview of a new online resource designed to capture and share lessons learned and practical insights drawn from real-world case experience. Meeting participants will then take part in an interactive work out to provide feedback on the resource, identify additional pointers, and recurring challenges.

The segment will begin with an overview of a new online resource to help establish and sustain mentorship and training programs that strengthen knowledge transfer and professional development across private and public entities including companies, law firms and consulting firms, government, tribes, NGOs and other organizations. Meeting participants will then take part in an interactive work out to explore mentoring models, training needs, implementation challenges, and practical recommendations for building effective programs.
