A MULTI-STAKEhOLDER REVIEW OF FAST-PACED CHANGES AND NEW EMERGING OPPORTUNITIES IN NATURAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
OVERVIEW
The Ad-Hoc Industry Natural Resource Management Group is convening its "Multi-Stakeholder Natural Resource State-of-the-Practice Meeting" on July 22, 2025, in Washington, DC (with remote participation available).
This meeting, held in cooperation with key federal, state and tribal trustees and industrial trade associations participating in the Group's Industry/Trustee NRD Standing Committee*, will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and experts to jointly review, examine and discuss natural resource liability, assessment, restoration, and related issues in the U.S. and globally.
Our program follows from the Group's 2024 Best Practice Approach Workshops, as well as its 2022 and 2023 Natural Resources Symposia to provide attendees with the latest in law, science, economics, and policy from leading authorities; solutions to manage key practice influences including climate change, emerging contaminants, regulatory shifts, ESG impacts, etc.; ways to advance common objectives between public and private parties at individual sites; and more. For further information on these prior programs, see the "Symposia and Workshop" section of the Group's website here.
